Annie Kids
Today we successfully had our first read through of Annie Kids.
Parents, if your student has landed a role with a script, lease take the time to go over their parts with them. Most of the kids were well prepared and for a first run through, we were so pleased!
The teachers responsible have a meeting on Friday where we are going to fine-tune the details of the upcoming rehearsal schedule. We anticipate having it ready for students on Monday with Tuesday being the first potential rehearsal date. Thank you for your patience while we take the time to organize the schedule thoroughly.
Precorders
This is another reminder that students in grades 3 & 4 are required to have their precorder with them for each and every music class. Please help your student to be prepared for class by having their instrument with them on music days . Some students opt to leave their instruments in a labelled bin in my classroom. I do give students the option to take them home, but if they arrive empty handed for more than one class I will ask them to leave their precorders in the classroom the next time they return them to school. Occasionally I will send a reminder letter home so parents are aware of the situation. It makes it hard for students to be successful with the curriculum when they are not prepared for class.
Thanks for reading.
